Spurring Investments, Showcasing Business Opportunities for Investors in Kenya.
About The Roadshow
Showcasing Investment & Business Opportunities In Kenya
As ALN, we have continually promoted Kenya as an investment destination, particularly over the last few years. The ALN Ready Business Roadshow webinars will support these initiatives and showcase the investment and business opportunities in the major economies where we are present.
The webinars will be an effective platform for dialogue, providing a candid overview of opportunities, challenges, risks and rewards of investing and doing business in Africa. They will also highlight how critical commercial and policy topics can promote partnerships and encourage deal-making.
Investment Guide
This Investment Guide aims to serve as a business-oriented guide that includes a political & economic overview of the country, the regulatory environment in Kenya, industry/sectors open to or restricted from FDI, investment promotion entities, tax regime, and key developments for doing business in Kenya. The guide targets investors and business leaders.
Kenya is the largest and most advanced economy in East and Central Africa. Its GDP accounts for more than 50% of the region’s total, and its 2021 GDP stood at 110.35 billion dollars in current market prices.
The Government of Kenya recognises the critical role investments play in economic development and realising Vision 2030 objectives. To this end, Kenya has streamlined business licensing regimes and adopted online investment facilitation portals to ensure faster registration and approval of new investment projects.
