- Acting for a logistics company in connection with acquisition of a majority stake in another logistics company with operations in Tanzania and Zambia including conducting a due diligence on the target and drafting an offer document.
- Acting for a publishing company in connection with acquisition of shares in a company including drafting transaction documents (share purchase agreement, subscription agreement and shareholders agreement) and managing the due diligence process.

- Acting for AVIC International Real Estate Kenya in connection with its development of a mixed-use state-of-the-art development comprising of one of tallest office blocks in Kenya.
- Acting for Impact North (KE), a partnership between Actis and Improvon Group, one of South Africa’s most established logistics and warehouse property specialists, in connection with the USD 110 million industrial park and Grade A warehousing developed on a 103-acre parcel of land in Northlands, Ruiru.
- Acting for Centum, a leading East African investment and real estate development company listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange and the Uganda Securities Exchange in connection with the Two Rivers Mall situate on Two Rivers, its five-year, 100-acre, fully-integrated mixed-use development, the largest of its kind in Kenya, including advising on, drafting and negotiating the agreements for lease and short term commercial leases in respect of the retail spaces in the Two Rivers Mall.
Dispute Resolution
- Assisting the legal team in the representation of an Ugandan oil marketer in an ongoing case, at the East Africa Court of Justice (EACJ) at Arusha, against the Government of Uganda in connection with a decision by the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) to issue the company with a huge tax demand arising from custom taxes on various lubricant items manufactured by the company’s sister company in Kenya and imported by the company into Uganda, on the grounds that URA’s decision was unlawful, for infringing various provisions of the Treaty for the Establishment of the East African Community, the Protocol on the Establishment of the East African Customs Union, the Protocol on the Establishment of the East African Community Common Market and the East African Community Customs Union (Rules of Origin) Rules (the EAC Rules of Origin).
- Assisting the legal team in the representation of a private party in a domestic arbitration involving a dispute on valuation of shares.
