Industrial Energy-Intensive Users: How is Energy Used in Africa

The session will explore crucial questions surrounding navigating the continent’s power markets. Participants will explore the outlook for corporate PPAs (Power Purchase Agreements), examining how to navigate challenges currently impeding project efforts.
Additionally, they will discuss how key players can strike a balance in the pace of the green transition. The panel will also debate the impact of moving away from purely sovereign power purchase agreements (PPAs) and whether this shift can improve investment risks.
