    • Acting for a leading international energy and infrastructure conglomerate in an arbitration proceeding relating for the recovery of a circa. USD 600 million debt from the Zambian Government’s Ministry of Energy.
    • Acting for Kashikoto Conservancy, a multi-million dollar conservation business, in connection with various transactions, including securing carbon rights and obtaining the relevant regulatory approvals required in order for the client to obtain carbon stock management permits over private land owned by the client, a community game ranch, and land held under a hunting concession agreement.
    • Acting for Graduare Property Development, which owns one of the largest and busiest malls in Lusaka, in connection with a dispute relating to a road expansion project and construction of a fly-over bridge that would negatively affect the flow of traffic into the mall and its accessibility.
    • Acting for Konkola Copper Mines (KCM), one of Africa’s largest integrated copper producers, in various litigation matters in Zambia involving the encroachment on KCM’s mining area by various third-party entities. The litigation matters were complex because some of the encroaching third-party entities were granted mining interests that overlapped with KCM’s mining interests and some were granted mining interests over land to which KCM had surface rights
