Kwasi Safo Akonnor

Kwasi Safo Akonnor is a Ghanaian corporate lawyer with expertise in energy, mining, agriculture and private equity transactions. He is an Associate at N. Dowuona & Company |ALN Ghana, where he advises multinational corporations, private equity firms, and development finance institutions on complex legal matters. His experience includes advising on renewable energy projects, venture capital investments, and mergers and acquisitions across multiple industries.

Kwasi has provided legal counsel on Ghana’s off-grid renewable energy regulations, advised on the structuring of a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), and represented investors in major agriculture and mining transactions.

Beyond transactional work, Kwasi is the co-lead for LaunchPad, N. Dowuona & Company |ALN Ghana’s pro bono initiative supporting early-stage entrepreneurs and women-led businesses. He is a TEDx Accra speaker and has experience in legal due diligence, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.

Kwasi is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana.
