- Advising the African Development Bank (AfDB) and Green Climate Fund in connection with a financing package of USD 14.5 million for the construction of a USD 21 million Innovent Gameton North 20 MW solar project by Copperbelt Energy Corporation Plc and Innovent R-E. The project is one of six projects selected by the Zambia government under the country’s Global Energy Transfer Feed in Tariff (GETFit) program designed to unlock private-sector investment in small-and medium-scale renewable energy independent power projects in the country.
- Acting for Enel Green Power, an Italian multinational renewable energy corporation headquartered in Rome, in connection with the development of a 50MW solar power plant under the first ever scaling solar project in Zambia.
- Advising the International Finance Corporation in connection with its proposed financing of generation and distribution of electricity projects in Zambia.
- Acting for Zambia’s National Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA), Zambia’s statutory social security fund, in connection with a USD 200 million finance by NAPSA to Maamba Energy Limited, a leading independent power producer in Zambia, for the construction of a 300 MW Phase II Power Plant in Zambia.

- Advising a Chinese State-Owned Enterprise, as a contractor on an Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) Contract, in connection with the construction of Kafue West-Muzuma 330Kv Double Circuit Transmission Lines on behalf of ZESCO Limited for cica USD 89 million.
• Advising a multilateral institution in connection with its proposed development of projects for the construction and development of electricity transmission lines in Zambia at a projected cost of USD 600 million. - Advising Genesis Energy and Power Limited, an energy infrastructure developer with expertise in the development, operation and maintenance of power projects in Africa, in connection with the power sector in Zambia, including providing a regulatory overview.
- Advising Mpande Clean Energy Limited, a subsidiary of Sinoma Energy Conservation Limited, in connection with its construction of a 7.5 MW waste heat power station and a 33 Mwac/3 mwp PVPower Station in one of Zambia’s Insustrial Paks in Lusaka.
- Acted for Wheaton Precious Metals Corp, a Canadian multinational precious metals streaming company, in connection with a proposed USD 1 billion gold streaming transaction with First Quantum Minerals.
- Acted as local counsel in connection with the acquisition by GoviEx Uranium of two uranium mines in Zambia from African Energy Resources Limited.

Infrastructure and Project Development
- Acting for China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) in its capacity as developer and concessionnaire, in connection with the revitalisation of the Tanzania-Zambia Railway (the TAZARA Railway) under a 30-year concession/public private partnership with initial investment valued at over USD 1.4 billion granted by the Zambian and Tanzanian governments in favour of two project companies set up by CCECC in Tanzania and Zambia for purposes of revitalizing the TAZARA Railway.
- Acting for FJXX in connection with the proposed rehabilitation and revitalisation of Indeni, Zambia’s only petroleum refinery, including its upgrade into a fully functional crude oil refinery and the development of ancillary projects across the petroleum, power, mining and manufacturing sectors.
- Advising a UAE based developer in connection with Public-Private Partnership projects for deployment of digital government transformation solutions for enabling infrastructure, government superapp, track and trace for excisable goods, pharmaceuticals, agricultural, and forestry products, airports services, weather monitoring services, and the programme management between the client as concessionaire and the Government of the Republic of Zambia and other government entities including a number of Zambian ministries, the Zambia Revenue Authority and Zambia airports corporation.
- Advising a UAE based developer in connection with a public private partnership agreement for the development and maintenance of airport navigation systems at three international airports in Zambia.
- Advising a Chinese-owned enterprise in connection with the proposed development of a dry port in Zambia in conjunction with the government of Zambia.
- Advising Sinohydro Zambia Limited, a subsidiary of Sinohydro Corporation Limited (SCL), a PRC entity, in connection with the procurement requirements of SCL’s bid for the design, engineering, procurement, construction, operation and maintenance of a hydroelectric power scheme at Ngonye Falls in Western Province of Zambia.

- Advising Absa Group Limited in connection with the employment law aspects of the sale of its life insurance company in Zambia to Hollard, including advising on the potential transfer of employees as a result of the sale and assisting the client with engaging with the employees regarding the impact of the sale.
- Advising CFB Medical Centre, one of Zambia’s premium private hospitals, in connection with employment law matters, including successfully defending the hospital against a number of wrongful termination claims by the hospital’s ex-employees.
- Advised the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) on numerous occasions in connection with employment law matters in Zambia, including assisting with terminating employees using mutual separation and redundancy and drafting employment contracts for the Zambia office.
- Advised Qatar Airways on various employment law matters in Zambia including drafting employment contracts and advising on data protection requirements in relation to employees.
- Advised Janus Continental Group in connection with a redundancy exercise in Zambia, including providing a legal opinion on the process and assisting with implementation of the exercise, drafting the requisite notices of redundancy to the employees and the labour commissioner’s office, and providing the client with support throughout the consultation period with the employees.

- Advising Good Nature Agro, a for-profit social enterprise that supports small-scale farmers in Africa by providing them with high-quality legume seed and commodities, in connection with employment law advice relating to various issues including contracts, termination and defending them in labour disputes before the Zambian courts.

- Advising Green Capital, a Polish developer and operator of solar and wind power plants, in connection with a long term lease agreement to be used for the construction and operation of solar power project in Central province of Zambia.
- Acted for Galaunia Farms Limited in connection with the sale of its three farms situated in Lusaka, Zambia, for the sum of USD 18.242 million as part of the sale of its agribusiness as a going concern.

Private Equity
- Acting as local counsel for EMR Capital, a global private equity firm, in the acquisition of Lubambe Copper Mines situated in the Copperbelt province of Zambia.
Insolvency
- Advised second ranking creditors of one of Zambia’s leading luxury lodges in Mosi-O-Tunya National Park in connection with the recovery of a debt exceeding USD 2 million, including assisting creditors with successful appointment of a receiver as a means of recovering the debt owed various creditors.
- Advised Mwala Holdings Limited in connection with the recovery of circa USD 9 million debt, including assisting with the appointment of receivers and managers and guiding the client through the receivership process.
