ALN Kenya Celebrate Excellence at the 2024 Nairobi Legal Awards

Daniel Ngumy, ALN Kenya Co-Managing Partner and Head of Tax, was honoured as Partner of the Year, an accolade that highlights his transformative leadership and unparalleled contributions to the legal profession.

Under Daniel’s leadership, our Firm, together with Adili Group, has continued to expand into innovative and transformative areas of practice and service delivery. Daniel has been a trusted advisor to both local and multinational corporations, excelling in regional and international tax law, investment structuring, and regulatory compliance. His national contributions include spearheading Kenya’s Electric Mobility Taskforce, laying the groundwork for the country’s adoption of electric vehicles as part of its net-zero climate goals, and actively engaging in shaping Kenya’s tax policy and promoting investment reforms.

Ikoha Muhindi, Principal Associate in our Dispute Resolution practice, was named 2nd Runner-Up Young Lawyer of the Year, celebrating his exceptional contributions to the legal profession. Ikoha is currently a Visiting Associate with the leading international law firm Slaughter and May in London, a testament to his dedication to excellence and commitment to gaining global expertise. His ability to navigate complex legal challenges has set him apart as a rising star in legal practice.
