ALN Kenya Partners Recognised at the 2025 Nairobi Legal Awards

We are proud to announce that ALN Kenya Partners Dominic Rebelo, Abbas Esmail and Adnan Khan have recently been recognised at the 2025 Nairobi Legal Awards, organised by the Law Society of Kenya.
Dominic was awarded both the Lawyer of the Year and Commercial Practitioner of the Year awards; Abbas was recognised as first runner-up for the Litigation Practitioner of the Year award; and Adnan was highlighted as first runner-up for the Pupil Master of the Year award.
Dominic’s leadership of the ALN Kenya innovation team coupled with his conservation and pro bono work, including aiding the Rhino Ark Trust, were highlighted as standout features in his receipt of the Lawyer of the Year award, and his role acting for the Amsons Group in a first of its kind transaction in East Africa on its public takeover and squeeze out of 100% of the issued ordinary shares of Bamburi Cement was further underscored as he received the Commercial Practitioner of the Year award.
The recognition of our partners’ contributions to and leadership within the legal space demonstrate our firm’s commitment to impactful work, and we congratulate Dominic, Abbas and Adnan for this outstanding achievement.
