    Serge has developed distinctive expertise in assisting clients seeking to invest in Africa’s complex and emerging markets while ensuring full compliance with the most demanding regulatory requirements. He has proven to be an effective partner to investors, lenders, local sponsors, intermediaries and governments, delivering reliable solutions that contribute to the success of strategic and critical projects across the continent.

    Specialised in OHADA countries and the SADC region, Serge has an in-depth understanding of geopolitical, economic and commercial issues in key sectors including telecommunications, banking, finance, energy, agriculture and mining. His strategic judgement and innovative approach have been instrumental in successful African ventures, particularly in the DRC, where he leads ADNA. He is admitted to the Brussels Bar, where he has practised since October 2006, and holds an LL.B. from Saint Louis University (2002) and two LL.M. degrees from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (2005; International Business Law, 2006).
