ALN and ALN Firms Recognised at the 2026 Africa Legal Awards

ALN and its member firms have been recognised with a number of awards at the 2026 Africa Legal Awards, reflecting the strength of the alliance, the expertise of its lawyers and the impact they continue to deliver for clients across the continent.
For the second consecutive year, ALN was named African Network / Alliance of the Year, recognising the alliance’s ability to provide clients with seamless cross-border legal support through deep local expertise and collaboration across Africa. Additionally, ALN Kenya received the Private Equity Team of the Year and Tax Team of the Year. These awards recognise the strength and depth of its Tax, Disputes and Private Equity practices.
The Tax Team of the Year recognition reflects the close and ongoing collaboration between the Tax and Disputes teams, showcased in a landmark tax dispute involving credit card transactions that was successfully argued before the Supreme Court of Kenya. The Private Equity Team of the Year award recognises their role in advising on a strategic acquisition spanning a number of African jurisdictions.
The awards also recognised NanaAma Botchway, Managing Partner ALN Ghana as Partner of the Year – West Africa, for her outstanding contribution to the profession and to clients across the region.
Together, these achievements reflect the quality of our people, the trust our clients place in us and the power of collaboration across ALN in delivering exceptional outcomes across Africa.
