Africa’s private capital markets are entering an important phase of evolution, with regulatory and legal developments increasingly shaping how capital is mobilised, deployed, structured and realised across the continent.

The latest edition of the African Private Capital Association (AVCA) Legal & Regulatory Bulletin, Issue 12, brings together perspectives on some of these developments, examining the opportunities and regulatory considerations influencing private capital investment across African markets.
The edition features contributions from seven ALN firms in Ethiopia, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia, providing insights into developments across a diverse range of investment markets and emerging sectors. The Bulletin covers issues ranging from domestic institutional capital and fund structures to taxation, exits, carbon markets and digital finance.
This legal and regulatory bulletin was first published by AVCA.
