ALN has received the Africa Legal Network of the Year award for the fifth consecutive year at the IFLR Africa Awards 2025, in recognition of its innovative approach in cross-border transactions. Our member firms in Algeria, Rwanda, Mauritius, Tanzania and Uganda received Law Firm of the Year advising on the most consequential and innovative deals in their respective countries. ADNA was named Francophone Regional Firm, and ALN Kenya was recognised as the Real Estate – Regional Team of the Year.
Additionally, ADNA won the Deal of the Year (M&A) for their work on the AngloGold Ashanti/Centamin transaction and the Impact Deal (Projects) award for their role in the Baowu Group–Simandou investment.
Aluko & Oyebode (ALN member firm in Nigeria) received the Private Equity Deal of the Year for their work on the Brookfield Asset Management/Network International transaction, while BLC Mauritius secured the Deal of the Year (Loans) for their work on the CrossBoundary Energy financing.
