We are delighted to announce the re-election of Daniel Ngumy, Managing Partner, ALN Kenya | Anjarwalla & Khanna, to the Board of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) Kenya.
For the past three years, Daniel has been an instrumental figure on the Board of AmCham Kenya. His extensive experience and know-how have positioned him as a key advocate for US investments in Kenya and the region. Furthermore, Daniel has advised on numerous investments by US corporations, providing critical legal and regulatory advice that continues to promote trade and investment.
Daniel has been re-elected alongside Caroline Mukiira, New Client Acquisition & Product Led Growth Leader, Middle East & Africa at IBM and Elizabeth Kimkung, General Manager, Legal and Corporate Affairs at Freight Forwarders. This re-election is a testament to their dedication, expertise, and unwavering commitment to fostering strong bilateral relations between the United States and Kenya.

Daniel’s contributions include his pivotal role in the digital task force, where he has been influential in shaping policies on digital tax for Kenya. In addition to his legal expertise, Daniel has been actively involved in organising the annual AmCham Business summits. The summit provides a platform for attracting investment into Kenya, fostering dialogue, networking, and collaboration among global stakeholders. They have highlighted the region’s potential as a business and investment hub, drawing interest from diverse sectors in both Kenya and the US.
Recently, Daniel represented AmCham at the US Chamber meetings in Washington, D.C., where he and his fellow Board members facilitated the announcement of more than seven major deals involving investments into Kenya.
