ALN Nigeria | Aluko & Oyebode is pleased to announce the appointment of Olujoke Aliu as Co-Managing Partner of the firm. Olujoke Aliu’s appointment is effective on 9 January 2023.
Reginald and Olujoke will jointly take responsibility for the firm’s overall management and guide its strategic direction. Olujoke is an active member of the firm’s dispute resolution and corporate and commercial practice teams. She has about 20 years of experience in commercial litigation and arbitration. In local and regional courts, she has represented several multinational and local companies, non-profit organisations, and individuals in complex and high-value arbitration and litigation proceedings. She was invited to the partnership in 2015 as ALN Nigeria’s first female litigation partner and managed the firm’s regional office in Abuja.
Olujoke obtained her LL.B from the University of Ibadan in 2001, a Master of Laws degree (LL.M) from the University of Pennsylvania Law School (now the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School) in 2009 and was called to the New York Bar in 2011. Olujoke was ranked by IFLR1000 as an Expert Consultant and a Next Generation Partner by Legal500 EMEA in 2022.
