Nicole has over ten years of experience and has been with the firm for over eight years. She represents some of the leading players in the real estate industry across the life cycle of real estate acquisition and development in Kenya and sub-Saharan Africa. Her experience also includes advising clients on land use planning, zoning and user restrictions, and environmental matters involving properties in Kenya.
Her determination and reliability have successfully married the firm’s core values, including integrity, hard work, collaboration, and excellence which she continues to demonstrate in her work and interactions with colleagues and clients. Nicole was ranked in the Chambers & Partner (2022) guide as an Associate to watch and a Rising Star by Legal 500. She has also been commended for her expertise in lease negotiations by clients in the Chambers & Partners guide.

Jeremy is an investigation, governance, risk and compliance specialist with over fifteen years of experience. His expertise includes financial accounting, finance, risk management and forensic investigations. He has successfully guided organisations in addressing proactive and reactive matters involving fraud and other types of corporate misconduct. Jeremy’s experience cuts across various industries, including the public sector, international non-governmental organisations, financial services and manufacturing. He has worked with clients in East, South and West African regions, the Caribbean, and the US.
Jeremy holds a Master of Science degree in Corporate Finance, a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Management and is a Certified Public Accountant. His contribution has been vital in growing the Forensics, Risk and Compliance practice for ALN. He has a unique ability to identify non-legal issues for our clients, especially from a forensics and corporate investigations angle, thus rounding up our offering and bringing immense value to clients.
