Yashfir Beeharry

Yashfir Beeharry joined the firm in November 2014 and is a senior associate in the Commercial & Corporate / Mergers & Acquisitions team at BLC Robert. He recently advised a listed company, the United Basalt Products Limited, on the acquisition of additional shares in two building material companies in Mauritius. He also recently advised an international leading provider of corporate, trust and fund administration services on the acquisition of a management company in Mauritius.

Yashfir also focuses on real estate law and regularly advises on property transactions including hotel acquisitions, hotel management agreements, lease agreements, development management agreements and FIDIC construction contracts. He recently advised a leading French property development company on the acquisition of a land in Mauritius for the development of a smart city project. He also advised a leading Sri Lankan conglomerate on the registration duty and land transfer tax implications on the acquisition of a hotel resort in Mauritius.

Yashfir holds a law degree from the University of Hertfordshire. He completed the Bar Professional Training Course at the Northumbria University and was called to the Bar of England and Wales at the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple. He was also called to the Bar of Mauritius in September 2014.
